actually I am happy with all my services from Adelphia, but every time I turn around there is a little increase here and there and I don't like it

when I moved I had to call the phone co to swith everything over to the new address and they said that they also handle direct tv and if I wanted to bundle my internet and tv with the phone (which I have the freedoms package) then I can save even more....they are sending us a kit so we can try it for 30 days free before we decide to switch internet services.

I was a long time Adelphia customer. When I first signed up for their internet service it was good for the most part. Certainly faster than dialup. After 8 to 10 months the speed was not like it had been. Then we started having problems just getting online. That went on for 6 to 8 months. I finally decided enough was enough. Craes, If you try Verizon I think you will throw Adelphia out the door just like I did. I have just started with the DSL, but so far I LOVE IT.

well it didn't take much for me to decide....but the hubby is the computer man and he likes having stuff just as fast as he can and previously cable was faster, now they are more competive with speed, I think I have him almost talked into it. My kid wants her own receiver in her room, which will come with the direct, I would have to pay extra with the cable...soooo we shall see

dude we get the point you like DSL
i've got cable the neighbor has/had DSL...DSL here is slow as [censored]... and i live on the 4-lane... just past MECC... so my neighbor called and cancelled his DSL... and is now leeching off my wireless connection (that i didn't encrypt) so i know he's doing it and he told me he was... and he give me 30 bucks a month for giving him internet... DSL is [censored] here man

as far as my cable goes.. i've NEVER had 1 problem with my cable, and i got it like the 3rd day it came out... should've bout you another modem... that woulda fixed the online/offline thing... i promise, happened to me i threw the other one in the garage went to circuit city got a motorola surfboard... and never been offline since... as far as tech support, never had to call... i'm very well satisfied with there customer service..

I used to live right past MECC and I did good with the cable for the most part, my thing is the cost.....I also know people with DSL right there and the speed is fine they have no problems at all.

The modem I took back to Adelphia this morning was my 4th one. The modem was not the problem and neither is the computer. There were 6 other people in the Adelphia office this morning turning in equipment and cancelling service.

With I have never had problems with there service I do have a tough time swallowing the bill if DSL were avalibale at my home I would switch in a heartbeat
